A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks and we can definitely say things are feeling a little uncertain now. But whether you’re in self-isolation, social distancing or taking a zillion precautions while working, please know that you’re not alone. We are a community of 3 million women that thank you for everything you’re doing to stay -and keep everyone else- safe.
Our community’s mission and purpose has always been to support each other, bringing out the best of us in every situation.
We will continue carrying this message by staying connected, helping our community, supporting organizations and trying to bring some light into these moments. We all play a role in this and we are here to fulfill ours. We’re all in this together.
As we adjust to this new landscape, we want to reassure you we're taking actions to take care of our team, customers, delivery partners, and community.
- Our employees are currently working remotely at their home.
- We are taking all necessary precautions and closely following government guidelines for our US warehouses and facilities working side by side with our partners.
These steps are being taken to ensure we keep things running normally for you to keep our delivery times promise and guarantees. Our teams are all working hard to ensure we keep giving you the service you love.
However, it’s not just about what we can do for our amazing team. We also sat down to actively think about how we could also support the entire community during these trying times.
Supporting the community: #HereForYou
One way we’ll be doing this is by working with women whose jobs have been harmed because of social distancing, in order to generate useful and entertaining content for all of you cooped up indoors. We’re calling this initiative #HereForYou.
What does this mean? This means we’ll be paying for online guided yoga sessions, follow-along exercise routines, video recipes and cooking hacks, tips and tricks for working at home and more, made by experts who’ve seen their businesses suffer from the COVID-19 outbreak.
We’ll share these videos on social media, our website and through email so you can enjoy them. This way, we’re helping fellow community members make ends meet, while also helping all of us survive this uncertain change in our everyday routines, while still supporting each other.
So stay tuned to your email, or start following us on Instagram and Facebook to know as soon as they drop. Just a heads up, though - some of these will be LIVE! We’ll make sure to share dates and schedules later.
Support Americares and the World Health Organization
Secondly, we’d also like to offer a way in which every single one of us can also help the entire global community at this moment. Starting on April 11, and ending on May 10, 2020 with each order from Shapermint you’ll be supporting Americares, a non-profit disaster relief and global health organization providing immediate response to emergency medical needs and supporting long-term health care initiatives for people in the United States and around the world. Americares is currently delivering protective supplies, leading support groups and skill-building workshops for frontline health workers in COVID-19 hot spots. You will also be supporting the World Health Organization in order to help pay for medical resources and supplies, as well as aid in the research for treatment and immunization of COVID-19.
We will donate one dollar for each order our customers make to Americares and the World Health Organization in support of this initiative (in an 80% - 20% proportion, respectively), until we reach $20,000 or until May 10, 2020, whichever happens first.

Shapermint Club Content Library
Aside from these new videos we’ll be making, we already have a few of these in our hands, which were reserved for Shapermint Club members in the past. We’ll be liberating our entire Shapermint Club content library so everyone can have access to them.
Living in the 21st century allows us to be in touch with our loved ones even if we’re far away - and it’s also a great way to keep our minds busy!
Channelling this idea, we’ll be opening up our lines of communication, dedicating more agents to answering questions via chat, social and email, 24/7. Plus, feel free to reach out if you just need someone to talk to. We’re here for you.
Take a break
Moving forward, we’re confident our excellent team and community will come up with even more new ways in which we can bring a smile to your face, even during these trying times.
We encourage you to do the same for your own loved ones, and hope you find our own social channels and communications a source of optimism, inspiration, entertainment and support - at least to take a break from the news from time to time.
